Hi, I have a guest John booked in who has 13 reviews. Only 3 of those reviews have been written by hosts reviewing John. The remaining 9 reviews have been written by guests who have reviewed Johns ( obviously a host himself) airbnb unit. Is this normal practice for guests who are also hosts? Could someone clarify this? Thanks, Glenda

You are correct, that is how it works.

@Glenda35 No worries, there are a lot of travelling hosts.

@Glenda35   I am curious about what might be your concern.  I also have substantially more guest reviews than host reviews.   Actually the Air BNB profit has allowed me to travel more so I expect to have more reviews as a guest 😄

Hi Linda,  I have no concerns,  I think it's great that this is the case. It's the first guest I've had who is also a host, and I myself have not yet been a guest, but plan to. Glenda

Good to know, @Glenda35.  I find that being a guest on Air BNB makes me as a host more aware of what is needed by guests.  I have been in shared spaces that are not up to my standards and an entire house that exceeded my expecations.  I think that is the truth about Air BNB that is sometimes disquieting to guests.  I try to judge how well what I offer fits my understanding of the guest needs.

Enjoy this business.  I wish you much success.
