I have recently had two separate visitors who did not leave reviews for me, but my reviews for them are showing on their profile. I thought reviews were only shown if both parties had left one?

@Jane530 that is a very common misconception, so it is perfectly understandable to think so.

Reviews will appear whether both parties write reviews or only one party writes a review.

The "reviews won't appear if only one side writes one" idea comes from this: during the 14-day review window, no reviews will appear unless both sides write one. (This is to stop people from reading the other side's review first, before they write their own.)

However, once the 14-day review window has closed, whatever review was written will appear.

If, during the 14-day window, both parties write reviews, then both reviews will appear early (before the 14 days have elapsed).
