SuperHost Status 10 Reservations Requirement

I noticed that part of the criteria to obtain SuperHost status is 10 reservations within a 12 month period; however, my typical reservation lately has been over a month.  A host that is primarily accepting long-term reservations should not be penalized for this, and I hope that the qualifications requirements are updated to reflect situations such as this.

Jason, tough i guess.  I assume you are setting your minimum nights to 30 for this to happen or maybe your monthly pricing is super cheap compared to the night rate.  If you could attract a few short bookings in the year it would make it easier for your progression.

I truly think the super Host idea is over rated. Some people can book a medocre studio nothing special and as long as its " booked a lot"

and meets the decent clean standard wow they get a super host Badge.

Then there are the other Hosts who have  A bsolutly Amazing homes ,are fantastic to there guest but do not book as much as airbnb wants for the renenue we get NO Soperhost Badge -;((( How about a little Star  seriously lol

No fair meant tongue in cheek bit still erks me seriously....

Any thoughts

Thanks

Hello @Sally10@Jason2@Marcus0,

Thanks for starting this conversation, as you may have noticed Superhost status is quite a popular topic here in the CC. It is really interesting to hear your thoughts on this.

Have you or anyone one else got any ideas for how you would you like to see the superhost programme work?
