Taxes remitted on my behalf by AirBNB

So, 

I've got a couple of places in Florida and AirBNB is (as of Dec. 1) remitting taxes on my behalf.

a)  How are they remitting it on my behalf without knowing my tax ID number to submit with my portion?

b)  How do I know how much they have paid and how much they collected?

c)  Is there a way to find out, when a quote is sent to a renter, how much they are quoting for taxes, rental fees, cleaning, etc.?

Any help would be beneficial.

Hi Denis,

Your SS # may already be in the system.

Check under Dashboard/Account/Transaction History. There you will see all your transactions. The message about tax filing, as shown below, will appear. Click on the Taxpayer Information link. There you will see your SS # and address, etc.  Hope this answers yours question.

2015 Tax Filing

Airbnb is only issuing Form 1099-K to hosts who earned more than $20,000 in 2015 and had more than 200 reservations for the year. If you received a form, you’ll see it in your Taxpayer Information.

For all other hosts, use your 2015 Airbnb earnings summary to help file your taxes.

I am new to the Airbnb community and am in Texas, but when I typed in my query, this thread came up. I would like to know if Airbnb will send me a document of the taxes remitted for me to the state? I have the spreadsheet. Is that enough to show to the local authorities?
