Tenant left fleas

I had a tenant that brought their dogs to my Airbnb house. This is not an issue because I do allow dogs but when the cleaner came to clean later there were fleas in a number of rooms. There was absolutely no sign of these fleas prior to this tenant and the cleaner did not see any of them. I have to pay  a couple hundred dollars to get rid of them so no future tenants have any issues. Do I have any recourse in this?

@Zach3, Since you allow dogs, you should ask for proof that the animals have proper flea treatment and other immunizations, just to be safe. You have a $300 security deposit. Depending how long ago these guests left, you may be able to collect on your deposit. I suggest contacting Airbnb immediately to see what your options are.  Here's how:
