The request of Airbnb to look for other hosts

The last weeks when guest have left our house and reviews are written, Airbnb asks me if I have some other friends living here who might start renting their house. That is a ridiculous request. It means that if my neighbour or friend who lives near us, will start I will have less turnover? The only party that will benefit is Airbnb. So those requests are very inpropriate!

You are not obliged to provide Airbnb with new potential locations, allthough you receive a fee for it. But indeed, why bring more competition on the market you are in....But if "friends" are living in another region, it does not harm...

Het is alleen in het belang van Airbnb als ik een nieuwe verhuurder in breng, ik zal dan minder omzet hebben en Airbnb meer omzet. Die fee die ik krijg is natuurlijk een fooi in vergelijking met de service die Airbnb in rekening brengt.
