Townhall permission for Airbnb

Hello,

I live in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Do I need townhall permission for running Airbnb in house?

There is no clarity given by anyone.

If yes, then I would like to learn from someones expereince.

It depends on the municipality, they have all different rules.

A lot of municipalities have rules for official B&B's and they need a license.

But Airbnb is a grey area, still to be integrated in rules.

Like Amsterdam has strict rules, but my city (Leeuwarden) does not active go after Airbnb accomodations.

So check the website of your town hall.

If nothing mentioned there or no clear answers given: just start !
