Hi @Tracey58 When he requested the addition day, the best way to do it would have been to go to his reservation, then click "Change or cancel", make the changes and then submit. He would have had to accept the change to extend his stay. The only thing you can do at this point is to escalate your Resolution Center request to Airbnb & get them involved. There is an option for that in the Resolution Centre request you have started for this guest. Hope that helps & best of luck getting that sorted! Karen

You needed to do a reservation change before the end of the reservation period.  Hopefully you have recorded the conversation in the Airbnb portal that he requested to stay an extra night and did so.  If he does not agree to pay for the extra night through the resolution center, you will need to escalate this and ask for Airbnb's help.  If he says he never stayed and extra night, because you never sent a reservation alteration and if you cannot prove he was there, you may not be able to get paid for this.  Hopefully he steps up and pays you as you agreed.

We've just had the same thing happen. A guest who booked for a week asked to extend it for another 4 days. I did not realise I needed to change anything - just responded yes to his message which was through the airbnb app. When I checked our PayPal account we have only been paid for the intial booking! I have emailed him and messaged him but no repsonse so far. Hopefully he pays - he has very good feedback - but if not I'm going to have to go through the resolution process which from past experience is usless!
