What is you most perplexing 3 star review? The obtuse one that you cannot understand...

In a masochistic mood last night, I was rereading my reviews.  This 3 star review still perplexes me and will not let me sleep

From Ekarina. 2 guests = $40 (total)/one night.

“Ok to crash for one night max if you're traveling on a budget. Comfy bed, mini fridge in the room, free street parking, and safe neighborhood were all pluses. Seemed like there were quite a few people in and out of the house (including other airbnb'ers), which is ok I guess, but not the best in terms of privacy. Although, the bedroom and the bathroom were fine, common areas were very cluttered and generally untidy. My friend and I needed a cheap place place to crash for one night during our short visit to Seattle and this was one of the cheapest places, so this worked out ok. This is fine for the price, but I will definitely be ok with paying more for quality next time.”

VALUE RATING:  2 STARS!

I’m still hitting my head against the wall. She got what she wanted: AN INEXPENSIVE comfortable and clean bed and bathroom. But she had such a need to punish me for her miserliness.  She insisted that I have no other airbnb guests and a cleared-out sink in the kitchen.

What is your favorite 3 star review?  It needn’t be a revenge review, just something incredibly ironic.

Pease share.

Your guest really did NOT enjoy her stay at your place.  She wrote the review in the kindest way she knew how.  Just like hosts have a secret language to warn other hosts, she was trying to gently let other prospective guests know some of what she perceived as issues.

I havent had a 3 star review yet. But the times I get a 4 start review, it crashes me for a day or two. Then I get over it and think of the amazing 5 start reviews I also have got so far.
