Why the host does not have a verfied ID?

I wonder why the host does not have a verified Government ID shows up on the list. Did Airbnb have approved the host, that the host had been uploaded photo ID to Airbnb? I wonder will that be safe for the traveler to stay in a place that host does not have a verified ID?

Hello @Shanwei0. There are both many hosts and guests who do not have any approved ID. But the truth is that Airbnb will not reveal the id info even if there are problems, so many hosts simply verify their guests themselves.
