Wow. Large double room for £21! London is dead!

It’s close to 7pm UK time. A search for a double room for tonight, shows only 32% of rooms in London are booked!

London today  was heaving with tourists, yet it appears there are not staying with Airbnb?

And a nicely presented double room available at £21 including booking fee!

What on earth is going to happen in low season?!

I just saw a Booking.com TV advert on Sky. They were marketing (some) discounted stays.

Psst... (whisper) airbnb now offer this... but who knows?

Yes @Ian-And-Anne-Marie0 , a little Airbnb spend on marketing the “traditional local”, wouldn’t go astray!

@Mark116 @David6

They definitely need to apply themselves to the basics.

Lets start with the simple stuff first... Administer the T&C's in the way they are written and not the way somebody can guess to twist them. After that, abolish retaliatory reviews. Then, put the security deposits in the control of hosts like V do.

The time and money saved from their CS reps passing problems around their departments will then be released to pay for some competitive marketing which should result in increased bookings, happy hosts and more $'s to Airbnb.

'Happy hosts' I've not seen that written anywhere on these fora, I'm surprised its not been *bleeped* as a profanity !

Absolute madness that hosts are offering at this price. Simple laundry, supplies & depreciation of stuff wouldn't be covered at this price let alone any contribution towards mortgage or borrowing costs. The cynic in me wouldn't consider booking at this low a price (& believe me, I like a bargain!)
