change the price of a reservation

Can I as the host change the price of a booking as agreed with the customer?  Reason is I set up our property with a price, found out we were under-charging within 24 hrs, increased the price etc.  However this customer saw it at the original (ie. not increased) price, and we feel we ought to honour what she saw it at first at thos lower price.  Can I edit the price on a booking?  Thanks

Usually hosts want to increase their prices. The general rule is that the price on the booking confirmation is binding. Should apply two ways.

Hi @Steve419 ,

If there is not yet a confirmed reservation and the button "special offer" is there, sent them a special offer with the correct price.

Otherwise you can change the confirmed reservation (choose "change or cancel" in the reservationslist), the change has to be confirmed by the guest. Best regards, Emiel

Steve, honestly at best changing the price on a confirmed booking usually comes across exceptionally tacky. If you can live with the old price for just this one booking, it may be the best course. Of course, if it was in error, then that changes matters and no harm asking the guests.

I'd say get yourself a good first review by giving your first guests the price they booked at and change it for future guests.
