do i have to pre-approve or decline when I've received just an inquiry?

I have to inquiries without them being booking requests. Do I have to pre-approve or decline in order to maintain good response status or can I simply answer their questions? I have done so, and it looks like they're going to keep searching, therefore  is there any action I  need to take to maintain good response status?

Hi @Patricia-And-John0,

 

You need to know if it is an "Reservation Inquiry" or a "Reservation Request"

 

For an inquiry, all you have to do is respond with either a message or pre-approve or decline.

 

For a request, you need to approve or decline within the 24 hours or it will hurt your response rating.
