hosting as property manager

I work directly for a home owner and they own several properties in the area. I have been the main contact for all things reservations until about 3 weeks ago. The owners bought a new property and the owner's daughter is a partner. She is going to help with hosting responsibilities. When I built the account, I built it in my name but with the company's information. Should I simply change everything to her name? Is there any way both of us can get email notifications from airbnb about requests, new reservations and guest questions?

Unless you are the contracted property manager I would advise that they have control over the account and just list you as a co-host. In some states you would have to be a licensed property manager to even accept rent payments or payments for short term rentals. If you are the co-host you can honestly state you dont accept ANY rent payments and are mearly acting on behalf of the owner of the property. If you are a co-host you will have to set up your own account and they will have to set up theres. You can do both and just give the daughter the creditials you use to access their account. If youre a co-host you both will get email notifications and can respond to inquiries together.
