long term guests leaving early

I've had some lovely long-term guests that will be moving into an apartment and leaving 10 days before the end of their reservation with me.

Any advice on whether to offer a refund for those days, partial or otherwise?

I won't be able to rent those dates unless they cancel the reservation (or I do) and that would reflect poorly.

Thanks for any advice!

@Christi3 don't cancel yourself as you will be penalized by Airbnb.  Here's a helpful Airbnb article on the subject of cancelling or altering a Long Term Stay:

Thanks so much, Clare! The link explained the process perfectly 🙂

Here is the link I sent to my guests that explains to them how to submit a change request for their reservation: https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/913/can-i-change-a-reservation-as-a-guest

Thanks again,

I wouldn't offer a refund, but if they asked, I'd consider how likely I'd be to fill those nights. For example, a month rental might be $2800 but three weeks $2400. Would I be able to rebook at least three of the ten nights to make up the difference?
