pricing for hosting groups

My site is Lincoln's Inn, Oakville Ontario.

I have a variety of ways I can arrange to sleep more adults than bedrooms.

So far, so good.

My question is:  How much do I charge when there is a party or family gathering of 20+ people on one of the days of the stay.

If my rate is $95 a night plus fees and 14 people are sleeping there the night before their event, do I charge $95 x 14 or do I charge this plus a per person fee for the party?

Interesting question! Personally, I would separate the two because the costs and risks are different: overnight guests (towels, linens, utilities) & event (potential spills, noise issues, wear & tear on kitchen/common areas, possibly vendors/other unregistered guests on site)

For overnight guests, charge your base rate + additional guest charge.

For the event, I'd think of setting a fee structure based on the size - $x for up to 10 ppl, $x+ for up to 20, etc.
