Can anyone recommend a lockable safe to keep in guests' rooms for storing their valuables? I see some small, affordable ones on amazon, but can't decide if I want to get one with a key or code (or both). Any suggestions/advice is appreciated!
Safe keys are usually unique and unable to be replaced at a local hardware store if lost so I would not recommend a key access only safe. A code safe is easier in that it will also come with a key should the combination get changed by the guest. You can even encourage a combination change for the guest's extra feeling of security.
$110 This safe does not ship with a swipe card. You use any card with a magnetic strip such as a credit card then you have a master key to reset it after a guest.
we have 2 safes and guests don't know how to program the codes (yes we have instructions ) they are not paying attention when they close the door (so the band of their camera gets stuck in the door) they forget their code or they don't turn the handle in the right position and can't open the door.... and then start panicking because they have a flight to catch) etc...
