[Meetup] December 17th, 2020: Festive Community Social

Hello everyone,

I don't know about you, but the holiday period feels like it's speeding towards us now, we will blink and it will have gone. Before that happens, I thought it was only right to send 2020 on it way with a festive social meetup. I'm picturing tinsel, festive jumpers (pull overs), decorations, carols, reindeers, festive food/drink....I think you get the picture. 🙂 

I've ummed and erred on the date as it would be lovely to get everyone together and celebrate the great friendships that we've made this year, so I'm hoping this date and time will be suitable for you. If not, please let me know and perhaps we could swap to the other timezone friendly time.

I got a last minute request from HQ - they suddenly decided they NEED an interpreter for one of their last upper management meetings of this year. and so I just booked a seat on the 9pm train heading to Seoul~!!!

Unfortunately no beer or snacks for me during the meetup 😭

Eating on the train is not allowed due to covid and I will be wearing my mask the entire time 😷 but the KTX trains have pretty decent wifi~ so I will see you all tomorrow. 😘

Not long now until the festive social meetup of 2020! It's lovely to hear many of you can make it and I think we might have a couple of new to our socials joining us, which is wonderful to see. The more the merrier. 🙂

I'm sorry this is late or super early for some, if you can make it even for 15 minute it would be lovely to see you. 

....plus you may have guessed, our special guest will be of course be @Stephanie (not Homer Simpson). hehe

@Lizzie and all my friends,.... today's my last radiation treatment so I'll be doing a happy dance in 2 hrs from now.

So excited to see most all of you tomorrow....can't believe it's almost Christmas! 

Will be wonderful if we get to see Stephanie too....till soon all.
