[Meetup] February 23rd, 2021 - Community Social & HAB

Hello everyone,

I hope you have had a good week. 

Our next social meetup will be taking place on Tuesday February 23rd, 9pm (UK time).  This will still be very much a social community meetup as we know it, but we will also dedicate some time during the session to get to know @Susan208  (plus a few other Host Advisory Board members) and hear a little more about what they have been working on over the past month. 

Here are a few timezones to help you know when the meetup is happening:

New to CC socials: For anyone new to the socials, it's a regular online meetup where CC members come together to connect with each other and have a bit of positivity along the way. It's not specifically Airbnb focused and anyone new is very welcome.

A big hello to first timers to the social meet up this morning. (my time only)

Always a pleasure @Lizzie, @Stephanie , @Quincy  and @Liv. It was pretty special to get you all “together” in the dimensions of your screens..... it makes me smile! 😊🌻

To returning Host Advisory Board fellows (HAB) Till @Till-and-Jutta0 and @Bez8, great to see you back again enjoying the ride on socialising globally.... 👏🏼👏🏼🙃 

To my long time Covid19 Socialising buddies, since February 2020: it’s always a pleasure and you leave me with warm and fuzzy goodness, to have had a cuppa and a chat with you all.💕

Sadly, we didn’t get to see today - @Clara116,  @Jessica-and-Henry0, @Marissa107, @Debra300,  @Yuan100,  @Robin4, @Kemi9, @Paul1255.

I had marmalade toast for you Paul, so I had to eat it, because waste not, want not! No garden or cooking tips today from Clara, Marissa, Debra, Kemi or Jess. No seeing Yuan driving along in a car, or Jess on a train or at work. No Robin due to his holidaying and Debra was at work. ( how dare it interfere: lol... I know! )

I have been on reading on CC or other zoom sessions; but it was so lovely to put a face and name to voice, of Omar and Anna. 

But a big thanks to other HAB and hosts who made the effort to visit, whether via video or audio: Axl, Mary, Bevan, Will, Patty, Kim, Marina, Pascale, Amy, Patty, Kim, Rachel, and Veronica. I hope I didn’t forget anyone. If I did, I’m sorry -  it’s because I was eating Paul’s unwanted toast!

Such a global representation added to with Mexico, Wales, England, East and central America, Canada, Germany, France, Australia and probably other countries!  

Not such favourable hour this meet for Asian and western Australian hosts and Eastern Europe, but maybe next time? I’d like to have a wine or beer with Jess and @Nutth0.

Maybe we can have a taco and muffin meetup, depending on your time of day......

Anyway, as my day enters evening, some of you will be waking or at work. Keep safe and thanks for the chat with fun and meaning!

It was so good to see all of you again. Such a good time seeing all of you again. I really enjoyed the conversations. Such an amazing community.
