Oh dear, it looks as if my foray into the Airbnb world could be cut very short. I have just received a letter from the managing agent of my block telling me I am in breach of my lease. I am yet to have a professional look at the lease, which was written before Airbnb was a thing, but I’m not completely inept and did look at it before commencing listing. I (perhaps mistakenly) took the part that said “nothing contained herein shall prevent the lessee from taking in a paying guest (not being a tenant) to mean it was permissible. any good (U.K.) solicitor recommendations to look at my lease without rinsing me?
looks like I’ll have to sell the darn place after all my hard work.
