Hello,

I am a new host. My husband and I have done long term rentals for years and this is our first furnished short term rental. 

Please review the listing and let me know what we can do to improve it. We want our guests to to feel at home while they stay at Outdoor Adventures Cottage.

@Meredith225 Looking at your calendar I can see when the home is empty - Looking at your pictures I can then find the house (2nd on the left with green roof) and either take it over for a party or just steal your stuff. Now I probably won't bother as its a long way to travel but others might be closer.....

@Meredith225  Definitely remove the pictures that show the location.  That should not be on the ad, but can be in your guest book for folks that have rented.

@Meredith225   Do a search for properties near you on AirBnB and see how they are prsented.  You have an awful lot of pictures ... which people will look at, but maybe not all 45.  AirBnB will showcase the first 5 shots, so pick carefully which shots you want to highlight.  I used to post my pictures as if you were walking around the house and property, but have since picked the 5 that are the most valuable -- hot tub, master bedroom, second bedroom, living room, kitchen and THEN realigned the remaining pictures.  People who are coming to your area may already know about the tourist spots -- keep those pictures for your house manual.

Loved your house -- clean, no clutter, very clear on what is available.
