Acceptable reasons for host to cancel

I booked and paid for a 5 day rental in June for a December stay. I have stayed at this property many times and have gotten a good review after every stay. The host just messaged me (3 months after accepting the booking) and told me she wants to move me to another property because they want to do a remodel on the space I booked. The other property only has 1 bathroom which is uncomfortable for me because I am traveling with a male friend and want privacy - that's why I booked a 2bd 2 bath. If I don't accept can they cancel my booking anyway?

I just wanted to provide you some info about the process when a Host offers you a different place to stay, which you an find here.

It states: "If you don’t want to change your reservation, or if your Host is asking you to switch without officially changing the reservation on Airbnb, ask the Host to cancel your reservation so you can get a full refund or find another place to stay."
