Airbnb canceled my trip a week before because of an issue with the host and I was given $25. There wasn't a single place in the same quality category and $25 didn't help! Everything would cost me at least an extra $60-$100 for such short notice and none of them were as nice as my original reservation. Talked to Airbnb for hours did not help and just "No further credit can be provided" All I got and the suggestions of stays they sent me were not even close to where II was originally staying. This was a big anniversary for my wife and me and was all messed up. Airbnb please do something. Anyone else encounters this and how did you get more money back or help from airbnb?
