Airbnb is a horrible company.

We made a reservation and host asked us to deposit extra 250 dollars outside of airbnb. And Airbnb is forcing us to pay outside of their platform.

As soon as the host asked  for extra 250 dollars, we asked them not to accept our reservation. but they denied and forcing us to pay host extra 250 dollars. 

I even sent email to their CEO, but no response. Very bad company, no one should use it and society should boycott it completely.

@Seema58 if it was not mentioned in the listing then call customer services again and demand they cancel the stay with a full refund. If it was mentioned then I am afraid it shows the importance of reading the listing carefully.

Yea also experiencing issues policies are shocking for a huge company they blatantly are all for hosts and yet without guests there wouldn't be any hosts!
