Cancellation notifications

Hi all,

 

I wrote to Airbnb on this topic but didn't receive a reply so wondering if anyone can help here.   I was hosting 6 years ago when I lived in London and have lots of really great reviews.  There was one period I left my calendar available for booking in June by mistake  - by the time I realised I had two bookings and I had to write and cancel and explain.  

 

I am now hosting again for the first time in a long time and in a new property.  However, these two cancellations are still appearing as the first thing guests see - which obviously does not look good and personally would put me off booking.  The reviews are there but come after the cancellation posts so I don't think anyone would go further.  

 

I wrote to Airbnb and asked if these could be removed given it was 6 years ago and the reason for cancellations  - which was an oversight on my part but everyone got plenty of notice and an explanation.   I am not getting any bookings or enquiries now so I think this is affecting people considering booking. 

 

Does anyone here have any advice please?

@Jean7328 I would consider using some of the precious words in your description to explain your previous 3 host cancellations. Other than that I can't see a solution I am afraid.
