Cheapest room in town, Goodie Bag as a separate cost to be paid at location. is that feasible? Pet fee? cleaning fee per room?

Sorry about the Caps lock. I have a baby in tow and am writing with one hand.

I want to rent each room individually for cheap, like $10 less than the lowest price. I have MY home with 8 bedrooms and 2 baths and I can easily live in the travel trailer that I own in my yard.

I plan to provide: Sheets, pillows, Towels, shampoo/soap from a dispenser, toilet paper from commercial holder that needs key. Paper towels from dispenser.

I plan to clean ever. Each room can have a max of 2 guests, plus their kids and pets. Fine, as long as you pay the extra fee.

How much is a reasonable pet fee?

I plan to have cameras in the common areas and in the yard and

I'd like to charge $5 or $10 for a goodie bag, but I wanted your opinion?

Because I don't want to charge it in the room because it will make Airbnb will take a cut of it and it is all going to the guest and their stay and if they don't want it they don't have to buy it.  This is what I want to include individually wrapped: Slippers, Ear plugs, Eye Mask, tampon, maxi pad, aleve or advil, alka seltzer, pepto bismol , 2 kcups and sweetener kit, conditioner, shampoo, lotion, bar soap, face soap (1 or 2) toothbrush with toothpaste, razor with shaving cream, body scrub.

I don't know if I would sell individual items, but that is an option, probably at a dollar a piece or for the pair. I would write all this in the rules and review and probably let them know via intro text message.

I know that the turnover for so many rooms sounds like a lot and it probably is, but I'm a stay at home mom and cleaning and laundry is what I do, plus watching my boys. Getting paid for that sounds like a great way to make a living! And eventually, I will be able to hire some help.

the "goodie bag" is really a bag of essentials that most hosts provide for free, not sure how people will feel about pay extra for it. They might feel you've tricked them with a low room rate, only to charge the for the things they normally expect to be included.
why would you be aiming for the lowest amount of money to charge? i'm concerned about the type of guest you'll bring into your lives.
suggest you make yourself a spreadsheet of how much it will actually cost to host, so you know your costs and what's viable.

why do you want to aim for being the cheapest @Denise803

why potentially have eight pets in one house

it sounds like a recipe for disaster.

with that many staying you need daily cleaning

and forget the goody bag - you should never include drugs as many have allergies
