Fraudulent claims of damages by host and airbnb closed case

My family and I traveled to  an airbnb in Fort Lauderdale from August 3rd 2024- August 6th 2024. Upon leaving everything was fine and August 19th I was sent a bill of $1140.60 stating that my family damaged a sofabed. I appealed it on airbnb as we did not damage it and  the host provided a invoice that backdates to June 11th 2024. Airbnb did not do my family and I any due diligence by properly investigating the matter and up to yesterday has removed the funds from my account and closed the case despite the proof of the fraudulent accusations

@Renathia0

I am just a bit confused by your statement

up to yesterday has removed the funds from my account

I don't know of any time Airbnb has resolved a damage complaint by charging the Guest without the Guests approval.  Aircover is the insurance when the Guest does not accept damages,
