Guest Booking

Guest Booking

I have a guest that wants to book my place for 4 months, renewing every 2 weeks until April. How would one accommodate this while keeping the place from getting booked being that he wants to renew every 2 weeks. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks

@Chris21090 . Exactly! Either your guest wants to pay a significant amount to take it off the STR market now or you really shouldnt offer them this deal unless everyone in your area books at the last minute?

One of the benefits of opening your calendar up is to allow the more reliable and different guests to book ahead. Putting all your eggs in one guest basket is very risky and you would want to have some monetary compensation and protections imo.

Offer him the two weeks and say he is welcome to renew if your place is available.

Your guest can't expect to both leave bookings till the last minute and have a guaranteed availability.

I would tell them if they want the space to be available for two months they need to book for the entire period or book for two weeks and risk it not being available when they are ready to book @Chris21090

It's an unreasonable request on the guests part .
