Guest booked 30 days and don't check outeck out

I am living in Ontario Canada. I have 1 guest booked 30 days and don't check out after 30 days staying.

He stayed in room, kitchen and washrooms are shared. He has car parking on my driveway.

Can I take his stuffs out or call police to help?

I will call Airbnb to help also but I am not sure what they can help to kick the annoyed guest out.

In Ontario, staying from 28 days is long term. To evict the guest, have to go through Landlord and tennant board, takes linh time. But I was told that guest share kitchen and washrooms is not belong to that board. It is so confuse.

Is there any one share experience of this situation ? I appreciate that. Thank you.

@Bhumika The guest checked out on time on that day.

But we prepared a different scenary:

-Before he checked out 1 day, I sent message remind and check out late fee is $5/hr.

-I stayed in the room next to him, shared washroom.

-In case he check out later than 4 hours, I will call Airbnb to ask for help and let him know he has to check out within next 2 hours, we will call police.

-We also warn him we don't allow parking on our driveway anymore after 6 hours check out late.

Luckily he checked out. But after that, he report for some unreasonable things to get refund, but we discussed with Airbnb and don't refund him any penny.

Are you sure the 28 day tenancy rights apply when the guests is sharing your home. If so you need a lawyer . If not get him out.  . @Lien1957

what conversation did you have with the guest about them overstaying l?

if he refuses to leave why haven't you evicted him?,

Hi @Lien1957 , I'm really sorry to hear you're dealing with this issue with a guest. I can only imagine how frustrating that must have been. How are you dealing with this situation currently?

Did the guest check out yet, or did you manage to evict them?

Do keep us posted if you've already reached out to the customer support team.
