Guest didn’t return keys

I have a guest who didn’t return keys of apartment and also didn’t return remote control for parking gate and fob for amenities.

my condo charges $250 for all those items.

I start a complain thru Airbnb, and they don’t want to pay. They got me in circles, and last time they ask for a police report…..

airbnb has the worst protection for host. Be aware that if a guest broker something or took something you can’t get any reimbursement thru Airbnb. We are alone on this

Thats defiantly a nightmare, Keys Keycards and Remote fob's,

In my condo it's only keycards to get everywhere,  almost every guest either loses one or leaves it in the room and goes out, It happened the other day, 

OK, I dont live to far away, the guest at the moment I gave him 2 keycards he left both in the room,
