Guest took bedding

Our recent guest left with the 1000 count sheet set for our AirBnB. We exclusively host long term guests (>1 month) and provide high quality bedding so they are comfortable. He was otherwise an excellent guest - quiet, left the apartment clean, no other complaints. How would you proceed?

Not what any of us would expect, right? Whew!

If I were in that situation, I'd have to guess that the guest felt the sheets were somehow ruined enough to not be good enough for anyone else to sleep on. I'd just replace them and chalk it up to the cost of doing business as a longer term host.

Personally I would ask the guest to reimburse costs of the missing linens and mention this in your review @Elizabeth3327
