Has anyone experienced potential guest asking to visit prior to booking?

I’m skeptical and wanted to get feedback from seasoned hosts. Thank you.

Do not allow a potential guest to visit prior to booking.  Not only is it an unsafe practice, it is against Airbnb terms of service.

Don't just believe what I say, check the Airbnb Help Center
