Holiday cards for onpast guests

Holiday cards for onpast guests

Has Airbnb stopped the holiday ecard they used to offer us to send to our previous guests?  How do we reach out to all our previous guests when we want to offer discounts or special rates to them as a way to express our gratitude?

Hi Angela,

Airbnb previously offered hosts the ability to send holiday e-cards to past guests, but this feature is no longer available. To express gratitude and offer special rates or discounts to your previous guests, you can still reach out to them through Airbnb's messaging system. Here's how:

  1. Access Your Past Conversations:

    • Log in to your Airbnb account.
    • Navigate to your Messages or Inbox.
    • Locate the conversation threads with your past guests.
  2. Send a Personalized Message:

    • Click on the message thread of the guest you wish to contact.
    • Compose a message expressing your appreciation and detailing any special offers or discounts you're providing.

Important Considerations:

  • Privacy Policies: Airbnb's policies restrict access to guests' personal contact information after their stay to protect privacy. Therefore, communication should remain within the Airbnb platform.
  • Manual Outreach: Currently, Airbnb does not support bulk messaging. You'll need to send individual messages to each guest. While this requires more effort, it allows for personalized communication, which can enhance guest relationships.

I hope this helps.

All the best,

Upfish Management

Hello @Angela-S-1 😊

Thank you for reaching out to our host community with this question! It’s wonderful that you’re considering such a thoughtful detail for your guests.

As Alicia mentioned, this feature is no longer available on Airbnb. However, she has shared some fantastic alternative options 🌟

We’d love to hear if you decide to implement any of them! 🎄
