Homelink guests

Hello all,

Happy New Year!  I have a question, has anyone dealt with displacement family corporation called Homelink?  I just received a booking and I want to make sure it is legit.  They have been a member on Airbnb since 2019 and they have about 16 reviews.   I just wanted to know what anyone's experience with this has been.

Thanks,

Special G.

@Special7

I have not heard of them, but maybe another Host has?  I did a quick Google search:

Only saw one Yelp Review from 2016 and it was from a client (not the Host)

@Special7 We received something like this today too -- seems suspicious. Long stay. Did your inquiry turn out to be a fraud?

Hi Special,

I have a follow up. I actually did get a reservation request that copied Homelink and the guest in an Airbnb message to me. Savannah Bennet with Homelink made the inquiry and the guest later completed the renter agreement.

Homelink apparently works with insurance companies to find housing for folks who are temporarily displaced. Homelink paid for an extended stay upfront.

I had reached out to the company before accepting the booking to verify it was an operating company. I saw that Savannah was a team member that worked on Airbnb housing. The company verified the legitimacy of the booking request via email -- I sent a general inquiry.

Here is the link to the company's webpage: https://homelinkhelps.com/

I hope this helps others who receive booking request from Homelink.
