Hi - Is it within AirBnb policy for a host to set rules via a house manual or physical sheet not provided until check-in? I am seeing a growing number of hosts set a wide variety of house rules that are not in the listing but are only provided at check-in. Quiet hours, cleaning, etc. This makes it so the guest has no idea what the rules are until they cannot cancel or refund.
@Andy48 unless the rules are clear in the listing I don't believe a host can impose extras at check in. Clearly asking for sensible things such as recycling etc should be acceptable but I guess cannot be forced on a guest.

Yes, this host appears to have a lengthy set of "special rules" that the guest (me) can only see once they have checked-in and can't refund. Other guests note this in their reviews.
