Experienced superhost with guest favorite tags on each of my listings, and yet my revenues are down again, and again.
After a strong 2022, 2023 was down, and so was 2024. And going into 2025 I thought things would get better as it was getting quite difficult to maintain profitability with revenues constantly shrinking.
Now, however my first two months are worse than a year ago.
Has anyone experienced similar trends and found a solution to this market?
I'm sorry to read that you've had a slower than usual beginning to 2025. There are a few other threads with a similar sentiment here too. If you head to the top of the page, you'll see the 🔍 search bar - if you type your question in there, you'll see some of the topics.
I also wanted to see if some hosts from around the Miami area are experiencing the same thing. @Maria22471, @Ani34714 and @Kristina764 - what do you think?
@Instant-Stay0I started hosting back in August, and I was also surprised by how few bookings I received in January and February. December 2024 was a strong month for me, and March has been pretty packed. However, even after achieving Superhost status in January, my calendar remained surprisingly open.
@Instant-Stay0 This makes sense. Just look up how much more inventory there is! On average 30% more than 2 years ago! And more is coming if you are somewhere in Brickell and Hollywood neighborhoods. Expect WORSE. I would suggest switching to mid-term rentals and exploring completely different markets and/or making your place something very unique.
