No payment for my work with a new host

No payment for my work with a new host

I have been a host for over four years. I love everything about my hosting experience and I encouraged an acquaintance to start hosting their property. I spent a great deal of time with them as they prepared their property and set up an account. Evidently, I didn't follow Airbnb instructions properly. I'm not very computer savvy and read the code on my page and they wrote it down on their computer. I didn't "copy" and "send". Airbnb has refused to pay me or them because of this clerical error. I resent this inflexibility on their part especially since they are collecting money as the result of MY WORK. Someone needs

to be called on this very bad decision. I warn all hosts to BEWARE!

Hi @Mary1623, Do you happen to talk about the Host referral program? I am sorry to hear that the referral was not successful.

I also wanted to share this article that outlines the terms for successful referrals. I hope it helps with the process for your future referrals: https://www.airbnb.ca/help/article/1129.
