Non complying guests by house rules

Non complying guests by house rules

How do you behave with non-complying guests who break the house rules; bringing unauthorized guests or making disturbance during quiet hours ? Would that be sufficient for BnB to cancel their reservation ?

Would depend on what rule they are breaking? Generally with noise I might give a first warning depending on time/severity.

With unauthorised guests I would either ask for payment if my listing accommodated or for them to leave if not.

If you have evidence of noise or additional guests that you can't resolve you can ask Airbnb to cancel. @Hatem-A-0

Thanks for replying. I had last night a guest who came at 5:40 am after partying bringing some girl with him, getting in & out clacking the doors creating restless time for at least 2 hours which disturbed my sleep and sabotaged my day accordingly. I don't know if the girl stayed & slept or just got her share & left. Usually I don't like confronting the guests & I try to let AirBnB handle this. I just sent him a message that he broke the rules. After contacting AirBnB to cancel, they were slow & useless. Maybe I should hand over in hand a copy of house rules instead of just stating them on the listing. what would you do in such specific case ?

If my guest came in, in the early hours of the morning with a visitor who wasn't on the booking I would have told him his visitor needs to leave immediately. @Hatem-A-0

Remind him it is a security risk for you to bring back visitors not on the booking.

I would have reminded him of any house rules you have around quiet hours.

Hello @Hatem-A-0

I always send my house rules to my guests via the Airbnb quick responses when they ask to book and ask them to take a few minutes to read through and to let me know that they are OK with them.
