Hello, I am overseas (7 hours ahead of my time zone). If anyone sends an inquiry (I have instant turned off for other reasons) after say 4 pm, I would not see the message until 7 or 8 hours later when I wake up in my current time zone.
I want to setup a scheduled message so any sender of inquiry gets an automatic message advising them of the potential delay.
But there are only 3 actions listed: confirmed booking, check-in and checkout.
Is there anyway to set up such a scheduled message for just someone sending an inquiry (and no reservation made)?
You can set up auto-replies for a richer set of events (upon booking request, upon inquiry, etc.) by using a 3rd-party messaging tool, like Host Tools or Igms. Some of these tools are free for certain limited functions. I use Igms to do what you have described, for exactly the same reason.
Hi there, thanks for the reply. I looked up igms but there doesn't seem to be any free version. Do you use it for free and is there a trick to doing it free? I just want to setup the scheduled messaging i desdribed and nothing else.
@Ali-and-Sade0 I only use it for a single listing (the one significantly out of my time zone). According to the website, using Igms for a single listing is free. I know I don’t pay anything, and hopefully that isn’t just a “grandfathered” situation. Here is the link:
