How do other hosts reply to a guest asking for a discount after they book? For instance, they are past the date if canceling for a refund, but shortening their stay. I want to be polite, but stick to my cancelation policy.
@Susan5003 How about a compromise. Tell the guest that they can modify the stay for zero refund but that if you then manage to re-book the released dates you will compensate the guest for said dates.
