Stolen item

Hi what would I do in This situation, due to no fault but our own we left an item in the hosts home . The property company the hosts uses said their cleaners found this item, it is brand new and worth quite a lot of money . They stayed over a month ago they have it on hand in the office and would be sending it out after many attempts to get them to send it out and then saying this would be sending it out this week or the next . I still have not received my property or heard any updates I believe this Item has been stolen by whomever cleaned the property after we left but I really it back .

Did you manage to have your items returned, or get some compensation back?

 

My items were stolen during our stay too, but the host claimed they didn't find anything, your experience would help me a lot.

can you explain more about what you mean when you say items were stolen during your stay.

 

do you think someone broke into the property ? If so did you report the break in to the police?
