This listing is a fake host, he was illegally sub letting.  If you book this property you won’t be able to check in as the locks have been changed!! And good luck getting your money back. Please share and warn others as air BnB won’t remove the listing?!

Did you book this place?  There is only 1 review and it's a good one and I can't see one from you?  You should have been able to review this host if you turned up on the day of check-in and found that you couldn't get in.  You got a full refund I hope?

I presume you used the "report listing" option on the listing itself?  Plus you can report the host in the profile section.

@Lorina14 has tagged the Airbnb community managers to this problem so hopefully someone will get in touch.

This is our property and it has illegally been sublet by the tenant. We have legally gained access and changed locks. Tenant has fled the county but hasn’t removed the listing. Air BnB has refused to delete the listing!!

The review is his sister who was managed the illegally subletting.

Oh my goodness Michelle, I didn't realise it was YOUR listing - how dreadful😮

Listen, I've just gone back onto the listing just now and it seems that it is no longer appearing on Airbnb!!  It looks like it has finally been suspended - yeah!  What an awful thing to go through.

Thanks Joelle it’s been a nightmare, I also can’t see the listing but we suspect he has just hid the listing so please can you check again in the future and  if it’s back on please  report it. Air BnB have replied instructing US to message the HOST  asking for it to be removed! Disgusting when they are enabling fraud. Many thanks.

@Michelle4397 I would be happy to check on this scammer but the link to the listing will get removed by the Community managers very shortly as we are not allowed to post links to listings, even if the place belongs to you!! 

Is there no chance that someone has finally acted on the information you have provided?  I really hope this person is banned from Airbnb as they are a liability to Airbnb and guests alike.

You can also try the Airbnb twitter account or Instagram account as some hosts have found a favourable response via this method.
