I faced outrageous indecency towards me as a host. The guest moved into the property and stayed for some time but not the entire period of their reservation, staying only 2 days out of the 4 days. The guest asked me for at least a partial refund if possible. I offered $500 out of the $2500 as a courtesy. However, after 2 days of waiting for a response from Airbnb support, they just canceled the reservation and issued a full refund.
I have opened many cases and talked to several support specialists. I was informed that the reservation was canceled due to a mutual agreement, but I never agreed to this. I need to pay my mortgage of $5000 per month for a whole year, and they just cut my income during the most profitable month, which should cover expenses during the low season.
What are your suggestions?
