Most Airbnb hosts are open to accommodating special events like baby showers, especially when the intention is to celebrate with family and friends in a respectful and responsible manner. However, it's important for the host to understand before guest making any arrangements to ensure that the guest is comfortable with the event and that it aligns with their house rules.

What you the host should consider before accepting the guest request

Emphasize that the gathering will be a private, family-focused event and that they will adhere to their no partying rule.

they will offer assurance that they'll be respectful of the property and the neighborhood, keeping noise levels reasonable and following any guidelines the host may have.

Additionally, they could offer to provide a security deposit or agree to cover any additional cleaning costs that may arise from the event. This gesture can help alleviate any concerns you the host might have about potential damages or extra cleaning efforts. Hope this helps

@Rhonda367 a large family meeting up should be fine except Airbnb has a 16 person limit. What would not be allowed is 16 people staying at listing and then inviting other people to come to a party.
