guest given wrong phone number

I had a guest arrive yesterday. She had tried to phone ahead but was told there was no booking. Thankfully they continue their journey. When they arrived she told me about the phone call and showed me the pre-arrival email from AirBnB, it had the wrong phone number on it. She had gotten quite upset after making the call, it's very fortunate they continued their journey otherwise it would have got very messy.

Has anyone else ever seen this?

To be honest I was unaware that guests were given a phone number at all.

The most bizarre thing is that I asked her to forward the email to me, but when it arrived it was formatted differently and had the correct mobile number (the guest was given a landline number in the same area, but clearly for a different host)
