messaging a host

Hello, I was in the process of booking a house and was in contact to the host. My request had expired, so I needed to resubmit the request but when i went to resubmit it I could not? And now when I message the host all their messages say "This message has been hidden because the person no longer has access to Airbnb."? I am very confused?

@Ryan3398 It usually means the host has been suspended or removed from Airbnb OR its a glitch.

Perhaps ask a friend with an account to see if they can message the host.
