@Jennifer3217 Because you live right there, you could just give clean linens and towels to the guests once a week and take away the dirty ones. Or leave a second set if they are staying more than a week. A week seems more or less standard for linen changes. If I get a guest staying 10 days, I'll offer halfway through the stay. I ask my guests if they'd like me to remake the bed or if they would prefer to do it themselves. So far all have said, "Oh, I can do that", which tells me they prefer their privacy or simply don't want to cause me extra work.
You don't want guests washing the sheets or towels, and instruct them not to. You will need to inspect those things before washing in case they need pre-treating for stains. If guests wash things, they just throw it in the washer in hot water, which cooks the stains in so they will never come out- you'll be having to buy new stuff too often.
As far as toilet paper and other provisions, put in as much as you feel is adequate for the number of guests and length of stay, and a bit extra. My guessts never seem to go through more than a roll each in about 5 days, but I know some people seem to go through vast amounts of toilet paper. I'd leave 2 rolls per person for a week, and just tell guests if they run out of that, or soap, or whatever, to let you know.
