Hosts, is having a mini bar in the property a good idea? It will be 100% honest system for the payment of the mini bar. Share some thoughts!☺️
@Agarwood-Residence0 Is providing alcohol (for payment or reimbursement) without a license permitted? I can see the value of having a mini bar of mixers and juices, but definitely not alcohol.
What a great question and conversation starter @Agarwood-Residence0.
@Lorna170 has already shared their thoughts and there have been some conversations about this in the past:
Mini bar by @Shurhonda-Shuyvette0 who was wondering about adding a mini bar too. @Guy991 and @Shelley159 shared their thoughts in the thread and may be able to share here too.
Selling essential items or snacks at your space - not directly related to a mini bar as such, but a great question from @Jijie1 about the sale of goods in your space. Some insightful replies here and may be relevant still. 😊

Most guests will be very honest, so I don't foresee many problems with this. The guest can tell you on checkout what they used, and you can use Send/Request money to collect the fee.
If something occasionally goes missing undeclared, I'd be inclined to just let it go (instead of starting an argument). I would also make something in the fridge available for free (to show hospitality instead of charging for every item).
