Welcome back to hosting — your Calgary space already looks like one of the top listings with that 5-star rating!
To help you get summer-ready, I recommend updating your photos, refreshing your description (especially regarding the shared 1.5 baths), reviewing pricing based on similar listings, and considering Instant Book to boost visibility.
If you find this helpful, I’d love to hear your thoughts — feel free to like, comment, or tag me with any questions!

Hi @Myra126 😊,
thank you for asking this question here!
When did you welcome your very first guest?
I’m also tagging a few other hosts in case they have suggestions to share: @Zheng49, @Andrea6232, @Bradley181, @Rudolf103, @Ruth290 and @Kate-And-Mitch0.
Thank you in advance everyone!

@Myra126 – Special thanks to you for bringing this discussion to life. Your listing already shows the care you’ve put into it, and that 5-star rating speaks for itself. I’m sure your return to hosting this summer in Calgary will be a great success!
@Michael9852 – Great observation on the pet photo vs. pet policy! It’s the kind of detail that can easily be missed but makes a big difference in guest expectations.
@Biborka0 – Love your suggestion to add more pictures of the shared spaces and window views. That kind of visual context really helps guests feel more confident about booking.
@Bashir29 – A custom guidebook is such a thoughtful touch. It adds personality to the stay and helps guests explore like locals.
@Lisa10282 – Your point about highlighting fun and unique details is spot on. It’s a great way to make the listing stand out!
@Photini4 – Thank you for the kind words and encouragement. A little positivity always goes a long way!
@Elisa – Thanks as always for keeping the conversations flowing and tagging others to join in with their valuable insights.

Great place! love the flowers and the doggie in the scene, maybe ad couple more pictures of the shared places like dining table, kitchen area and where the windows looking out too?
Good luck you already seemed to be an accomplished host won't be too hard to pick it back up!
Good luck!
Hi Myra126,
This looks like a really lovely place. The only thing that struck me is that there seems to be a pet in one picture, which could imply that you accept pets. However, at the end of your description you say "no pets". So, I would want to avoid any confusion there.
Good luck with it.
Michael
