Any tips on improving connection speed with custom launchers?

I was wondering if anyone here has used custom launchers to enhance performance and stability on online platforms. I just discovered blxstrap  and it looks like it provides a great degree of flexibility for launching applications more seamlessly. But I wonder—is this type of configuration going to create problems with network reliability, particularly in shared Wi-Fi contexts like Airbnb accommodations? Also, was anyone experiencing compatibility issues with some devices or OS versions using similar tools?
